When looking at

We always suggest using Pastel Accounting, as most accounting services tax practitioners also uses this. The following will be able to be done by using Pastel Accounting.
Accounts receivable:
You can prepare a quotation for the client on Pastel Accounting and on acceptance of it automatically generate an invoice. An invoice can also just merely by issued. Invoice will be made our in numerical sequence.
On month end all the receipts from clients can be processed through various cash book (Bank accounts or petty cash) to be able to send every client a statement of account still payable.
Accounts payable:
Supplier invoice can be process on Pastel Accounting. Payments can be processed in all the various cash books (bank accounts or through petty cash) which will assist you will the balance still owing to every supplier. This balances should then be compared to the creditor statements received from every supplier.
Inventory:
Inventory or stock can be processed on a daily basis. To keep proper stock you need to setup Pastel accounting to assist you with it. When processing the supplier invoice you will need to capture every item on that invoice into Pastel. Stock will then be removed as you make out a client invoice. On month end you need to do a stock take and compare the amounts to the amounts stated on Pastel.
